I would tell them to not worry about it but to just leave it in God's hands and that that's not the last time they will see their loved one because God is coming back to save us!
Honestly you need to just be there for that person. Let them know that you care and you will be there for all of their needs. Show them Jesus through your actions and let them know that you will be there.
I would help and encourage them to get through the rough time and pray with them, and if the person loved Jesus, remind them that they will see them in heaven.
I would bring them flowers and gifts and food to make them feel better. I think that cake brings happiness and would make them forget about what happened
I would say I was sorry but that they would see them again that it would be okay to be cry and to be sad but not forever and remeber the good times that they had togethet.
I would say God does things for a reason and he did this for a reason and we will see your loved one soon in heaven and that ivebeen threw the same thing.

I'd try to comfort them and at least help them feel a little better. But I'd let them grieve.

Just be there for them. Actions speak way louder than words, and sometimes that's all people need.
