Is it possible to remain neutral when both God and the world are trying to gain access to our minds?

No it is not possible. Because for an example: Say it's Saturday, and God wants us to go to church while our "friends" want us to go watch a movie(a bad movie), rob an old lady, or go skateboarding, or play the wii or videogames, or something. That doesnt really play along together to nicely.
No! If we aren't with God, we are with Satan. It's a black and white choice for us.

No I think everything is either for God or against Him. You may not neccesarily be disobeying God on purpose, but with God you are either 100% for him or nothing.

No it is impossible to worship two God's at once. It would be like going to a therapist and being okay with him. Although, then you follow him home and kill him because you got mad. Then you realize you don't have a therapist any more and you go to prison. Then you get out of prison.(Of course probably wouldn't happen that you get out of prison that shortly,... but anyway.) You could always go to another therapist, but then you might have the urge to kill them to.(Hence, apparently prison didn't work.)Anyway, this story just doesn't work. Just like worshipping two Gods.

No, God really knew what he was talking about when he put in the bible that you can't serve two masters because when people try to it can drive theem crazy. Thei heart is saying that they shouldnt do that and that they need to follow Christ and their mind says to do what they want and what the world wants.
I say NO if you serve 2 masters tou will eather hate one and love the other or despise one and conjoin the other
