Why do you think that the pious Pharisees treated Mary Magdalene so differently than Jesus did?
-Do we run the same risk of treating others as the Pharisees did?- (Describe)

Well God loves evryone and the Pharisees don't so God wanted to help Mary. Yeah I think we do run some of the same risks cause God wants us to love everyone and be kind to others!
They believed that she was a worse sinner than they were, but Jesus doesn't look at the things we have done. We "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," as Romans 3:23 says. We do treat other like that, once in a while. Some people don't think highly of girls who, well, didn't date the right guy.
Because Jesus loves and forgives everyone and the Pharisees go by the law and they didn't forgive her they punish or talk about her instead, but Jesus forgave her.
I think it's becouse we only look on theout side. Also because we judge instad of love, & catorgorize sin. Yes i think we do thats our sinful nature coming out.
The Pharisees thought that they wern't full of sin and that they were basically better than "ordinary" people. See, Jesus was humble and showed compassion and taught to the people with teachable spirits and that happened to not be the Pharisees. We think that we couldn't be as proud as them but we are. We don't stop to help others because of their looks, and we judge them by appearance rather than heart. We are just like the Pharisees, but Jesus calls us to be like Him and serve others humbly. But as always, that is a choice inside of us.
They thought they were all that, and they had big heads about it. But Jesus loved her for what she was on the inside, and He was God...but He doesn't get a big head about it. yes. We sometimes judge people for what they've done, or what they look or talk like.
Because the were not loving and they didn't see that Jesus loves everyone the same, no matter what you do. Sometimes I think that our class does do what the Pharisees did in some form or another.
They treated Mary differently because they didn't think she was as good as everyone else, just because she had a bad reputation. Yes we do that all the time, just because they did something bad doesn't mean we are better than them.
Because Jesus treats everyone the same because no of us deserve God's love but we all get it anyway. So Jesus probably treats everyone different compared to some how they treat us.
They thought she was such a sinful woman, and that she shouldnt be forgiven. But we all have a right to be forgiven and no one should be treated different.
Well he treated her like trash and so rudely, because he knew what things she did and didn't think she could be forgiven. But Jesus knew what she did and knew that she could be forgiven and he treated her with love and kindness. Many people know today what other people do and they judge them according to their works but they don't know that they can be forgiven. And sometimes they do the same things.
I think the Pharisees treated her differently because they considered her a very sinful woman. I also think that we do run the risks because sometimes we treat others differently by what they have done in the past.
They knew what she was labeled as so that automaticly put her in a category where no one wanted to affiliate with her, and the pharisees didn't treat her right because of what she had done. Jesus loved her and knew that she longed for forgiveness, and He treated her kindly, just like He treats everyone kindly.

Because they didn't think that she should get a second chance cuz they were "perfect" and were the law makers!
Yes. We treat other people like that all the time even though we know we shouldn't!
They considered her a great sinner and they did not want to be by her, but Jesus saw her as a poor sinner that He could forgive if she was willing.
Yes,if we are not carefull about forgiving others as Jesus has forgiven us.

yes. We sometimes judge people for what they've done, or what they look or talk like.
Because the pharisees weren't nice.
Because the were not loving and they didn't see that Jesus loves everyone the same, no matter what you do. Sometimes I think that our class does do what the Pharisees did in some form or another.

The Pharisees were only human, therefore they would tend to judge, unlike Jesus. We, too, are only human and will also tend to judge.
because she was a prositute. I think we have always treated some people different just because we didnt like them
Jesus is way nicer than those people! I also think we somethimes are as mean as them.
Beacuse they don't think like Jesus does. He is the PERFECT ONE.
I think we do. So we should just treat others as we want to be treated.
Because they didn't forgive her. Yes we do.
They thought she was such a sinful woman, and that she shouldnt be forgiven. But we all have a right to be forgiven and no one should be treated different.
I think it's because Jesus saw the good in her and her will to change, while the Pharisees only saw the bad she had done.
I agree with The_Awsomest_Person_Ever.

becuase they think she is a bad sinner yes we do

Well cause God didn't see her as a prostitute but as a good person.
God looks in the inside not in the outside and Pharisees just known Mary as i bad person not a children from God.
Because God loves everyone, but the Pharisees saw her as a sinner.
we do and we need to treat others as we would like to be treated...
We should treat each other nice.
They didnt love her like Jesus did he saw her as she really was a sinner that loved God.
They knew what she was labeled as so that automaticly put her in a category where no one wanted to affiliate with her, and the pharisees didn't treat her right because of what she had done. Jesus loved her and knew that she longed for forgiveness, and He treated her kindly, just like He treats everyone kindly.
becuz he dident want to forgive.
becuz he dident want to forgive.
