I don't really remember the very first time but one of the times was when I went to summer camp 2 years ago and this year I could really feel God calling my to do his work. Oh and when I heard the speaker Luis Googlio.. He really gave me another look at how God really is.
I gave my heart to God when I was really little. I was about five, and I had just heard the story of God's death in the 'uncensored' version. They didn't try to protect my little mind. It really helped me to know what he had done for me. I was at a program called AWANA and I remember crying because they had told me I helped put Jesus on the cross because I'm a sinner.
Well I don't remember it when I was little. So the first time that I can remember was when, ok it might be simple and weird, it was when my mom told me that I can't wear pants on Saturday cause its God's day so its suppost to be different. And that day we were having an outreach for pathfinders so I was the only one wearing a skirt so I looked pretty weird. It might sound so simple but as a Christian we're suppost to be different, and I emphasize on the word suppost.
I don't know. I guess that I kind of have been called to be a Christian when I feel that God is really speaking to me. Although I have been raised to be a Christian so........ I'm not sure I can't think of the first time.
One time well it was recently but the volleyball team had a game and it determined if we would go to regionals, we won so we were going but they werent willing to change the date and it was on Saturday, so we forfitted because we werent going to play on the Lords day. We were disapointed that we didnt get to play but we were happy that we were being an example to God and showing other people that God is more imprtant then anything.
Well, I guess all my life really, but especially right now. I'm giving four people Bible studies (altogther, because they are cousins) that don't really know what Seventh Day Adventists really are. They used to go to a Catholic church (I think) and I want to be able to show them what being a Christian is really about.
Well i always was a christan but i never really felf really to be until just recantlly that i really felt to be more and more like christ every day or i try.
when I was in fourth grade my pastor from my church came to my class to give a bible lesson. At the end of his lesson he asked, if any of you want/need a to have more bible study's and baptismal study's leave your name on this card with a number and everything. So I felt a calling to be baptized. So when I go baptized it was a very memorial day for me, my family, and God! But... too bad I forgot the date...
Well i never realy had that happen to me but im glad im a christain because i get to praise God and its the best..... i always feel like a christain because im always telling my friends that dont really know that much about GOD....+D
Probably the time I most felt like I was being called to be a Christian was at our class's Friday Night Vespers last year. Pastor Songy gave a really powerful talk that moved me so much, and I felt like God was calling me.
When I was young, we went over to Fiji to do a VBS program. The kids were so thankful about the things we gave to them and so thankful that we were there that it gave me a good feeling to know I was doing something for Christ. That's when I felt I was called to be a Christian. Plus, I was born and raised in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
I don't remember when i was called to become a Christian because I was born into a Christian family. Although I started to understand what it was to be a Christian around age 8.
