If God already knows our mistakes and sins, why should we confess them?

I think we should confess them because we show God that we are truely sorry and don't want to go back to our sin and we need him to take it away and forgive us.
To let God know we are truly repenting.
Because he wants us to recognize our mistake, therefore we ask for forgiveness. We need to except that we are wrong.
I think that like if you sin and you dont confess its like your really not all that sorry or you would like ask God for forgiveness if you were truly sorry.
Because we must ALWAYS confess to God our sins so we can be forgiven.
Because in this way we confess that we know what we did and that we are sorry.
To show that we really want to be forgiven.
We should confess because God wants us to know that we've done wrong. He wants us to know that no matter what we do he will always love us no matter what we do. But he wants us to accept that we've done wrong and that God has forgiven us but he wants us to learn from our mistakes.
It makes you feel better, and it helps to tell what is on your heart.
We should confess them and ask God to forgive us in the name of Jesus.
Because he wants us to acknowledge that we did somthing wrong. He also wants us to ask for forgiveness.
To know if we are truly sorry for what we did.
So we also know what we done and its great to tell him so you can get it out of your mind and you dont have to hold it in.
When we confess we pour out our hearts, to show that we are truly sorry.
Because we need to know what we did wrong and it helps us to learn from are mistakes. We have to make are own choices.
We should confess them so we realize our mistakes and can learn from them.
We should confess our sins anyways because we need to be able to identify our mistakes and ask God to forgive us.
Because that is what God wants us to do. It makes us feel a lot better when we confess. Thank Him that He invented guilt.
Well because we can't just to ak him to forgive us we have to tell him what we did wrong we have to admit to wrong.
Because He wants us to acknowledge we have sinned. And when we confess, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.
becqause it's what God asked us to to ask for forgivness!!

Because it shows we really mean we're sorry.
We should confess our sins even though God knows them because it shows God that, if we truly want to repent, we are truly sorry and want forgiveness.
So we can make things right with God, and truly confess.
We should confess them because it is just the right thing we know how to do but I bet that God is alot more happier when we confess our sins just cause he knows how our relation ship with him really with him really is.
He wants us to confess because when we confess He forgives us for whatever we have done.
When you confess you dont feel guilty anymore cause you already know that you told God what you did was wrong.
well we could just not even be sorry and God would know.
So that God really knows we are sorry for what we have done.
Well it makes us feel alot better.
because you need to confell them so you will be saved
God likes to know that we're sorry for what we've done. That's why He wants us to ask for forgiveness.
That way he could know that we are saying them from ou hearts.
To prove to GOD that we are ready and we deserve to be saved and we can just get it off our chest...+D
because if you confess to god you feel alot better than just staying at home feeling guilty all the time
