Why do you think Jesus broke the custom of the day by associating with and helping "sinners"?
-What lessons can we learn from Jesus' example?-

I think he did it because he is loving and wants to save as many people as he can. What we can learn from his examples is that we nedd to tell others about God no matter what they look like or who they worship or whatever we still need to tell them about God.
He loves those "sinners", so he associated with them. I also think he wanted to show the pharasies that he loves all people. We should treat everyone the same, even if they are different from us.
We can learn from Jesus' examples by, simply observing Him in what he does. Like when Jesus was on earth, He loved EVERYONE ont only the Jews or only the Gentiles. No, he loved everyone so thats how we have to be.
Because he was following the golden rule, doing unto others what he would want them to do for him. We can learn that God didn't mean to be careless on the sabbath.
He broke the custom out of his great love and pity for sinners.Thats not what he had wanted the sabbath to be like, and he came to the world to help people. I think we can learn that the sabbath is for every body. It's to celebrate the world he made spend time with him and worship him. But if some one needs help, help them!He made us all and loves all of us!Jesus is our example,we are all his children!
I think Jesus broke the custom because those people needed Jesus for help. He didn't care if they were wanted for crimes all over because he loves us just as much as anyone else. I think we can learn a lesson by helping others when they need help from others. We should be someone others can depend on.
I think he broke the custom because he believed that everyone was equal and deserved to be forgiven and treated the same. Also I think that Jesus tried to get to the Jews but they would push him away so he went to the gentiles and sinners.
Well he went out of his way to help the sinners because he was human he knew what they felt and he would be glad if someone was if someone was there to help him so he pretty much follesed the rule dont do unto others as you would have them do unto you I am glad that God helps us when we ever need
I think He did that because He wanted them to feel equal to everyone else and He created them so Jesus loved them. We can learn that we should treat everyone the same and that we should be kind to everyone.
Well personly i think that no matter what you do God will always love you. Most people they do wrong stuff but God always forgives them. This is a very powerfull question for me cause ive lost a family member and he was a sinner but he had the biggest heart in the world and i know when he was laying there God forgave him.
Because if he had refused to associate with sinners, he wouldn't be showing unconditional love. He would be discriminating, which is a SIN!!! That we shouldn't be in cliques, and we shouldn't not be friends with people because of what kind of clothes they wear or how they talk or how much money they have.
Because if he refused to associate with certain people he would not be indiscriminating. We can learn to love everyone, no matter how they dress, talk, or how much money they have. We would learn to not have cliques. They are a SIN!!!
We shouldn't think others are above us. We are all sinners in God's eyes. We all need him in our lives. We need to be able to reach out to people regardless of race, gender, social status, or wealth. God did that, and he converted many people to Christianity.

His love for other people. He is kind and understanding to others.

He wanted to teach them about His word so they also might be saved. I think the lessons we can learn, is to spread Gods word to everyone.
I think because he wants to see everyone in heaven not just the good people but the bad ones to.Dont judge people.

He was going to show them what God's character really was. We should love people unconditionally, just like Jesus and God.
because Jesus was and is perfect

I think that he liked everyone and he did not care for the tipe of people they were.
God doesn't care about if were not sinners because everybody sins so if he hated them he would have to hate everyone and hes caring and loving
Why I think he associated with them is because people can change. They need another chance. He loves everyone equally.
i guess cuz he knows what we can be like.. idk. To not judge other people
He broke the rules because sinners were considered the lowest of the low, and he wanted to prove everyone is excepted no matter what.

He loves everyone even sinners. He wanted to teach everyone so everyone who follows him will be saved.
He loves everyone the same no matter what they do. And because the sinners are the ones He came to help.

I think he wanted them to feel equal to everyone elce every one should treat everyone as they want to be treated...

I think it is because was He was witnessing for Our Father.
I think beacause he love us so much to do that.He gives everyone equal love even if we are "sinners".
Cause the other people were just being jerks...that being with the a different posse is cool...whatever Jesus does is awesome...

I think he loves everbody equaly and that we should be kind and not be selfish.
