Just today in class Mrs. Blackburn asked us if we thought we would go to heaven if Jesus came today. I wasn't too sure about myself. But then she showed us some Bible texts that said God loved us so much even though we're sinners and it kind of brings a new hope.
The Scripture that has conforted me is the verse that goes "you belive in me because you see me blessed are those who dont see me but still belive."that has help my faith grow in him.
Somewhere in the Bible it says that everything happens for a reason. And that is kind of comforting. For example when my dog died a few years ago, I just thought about it and said that it had to happen for a reason.
I'm not really sure, but whenever I think about the fact that my mom has cancer, I always think about Psalm 23, since it says, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4 NKJV
I like your idea's on these past two comments. One certain thing does not come to mind but when I've been confused on somthing before I've prayed about it & it became clear to me when I read the bible right afterwords. Also, when I am mad or somthing songs that i learned at church help me sometimes. That is another good thing to have in mind, if your in isolation.
A time when Scripture has comforted me is when i was little i was affraid of storms so i would think of memory verse and that whould make me feel safe and secure.
A scripture in the bible that helped me, was when i was in first grade. I don't remember the verse entirely but i do know it's in Proverbs. My brothers and I were all fighting about how we don't get along and that verb just talked about treating your brothers, (or siblings) right, even though they do something you really, REALLY dont like. That verse really comforted me and helped my relationship with my brothers.
Well, just this summer my great grandfather passed on, and I felt really bad inside that i turned to the Bible. THe Bible helped me through that difficult time.
Well when I don't get something and need help understanding somehing of life the bible always has the answers to my questions. The scriptures is also the map of life to follow ,so the scriptures also helps on that to.

I guess whenever my dad goes on business trips I get a little scared...like when I was little and he went to South Korea. He was gone for like, a month. I was only four, but I remember my mom and I praying for him every night. And sometimes when he goes on business trips now, I get all paranoid. But reading the Bible helps a lot.
After my dad died I wasn't really sure about anything. Now I'm so glad she did. There isn't a certain verse, but all of the one's that talk about heaven and seeing the ones we love again, and the verses where it says God will never leave us truely helped alot.
When I was in the 5th grade my aunt passed away with cancer, and the verse that helped me is that God knows the plan of your life and he sees and understands things when we don't.
Once we were studying The Great Contreversy, and I became VERY sacred of what was going to happen at the end of times. All the prosecution and plagues and stuff like that. So then I remembered this VERY comforting Scripture found in Revelation 2:10
